Simplified visa procedure for family members of EU/EEA and Swiss citizens
If you are a family member of a citizen of an EU(European Union) or EEA(European Economic Area), (except Hungary) or Switzerland, you may be entitled to the expedited procedure for issuing a free visa. You have to pay only for the services of the BLS visa center, the visa is for free.
Family members:
- Spouse / registered partner
- Direct lineal descendants (children) under 21 years of age or dependents, as well as descendants (children) under 21 years of age, or dependents of a spouse or partner.
- Direct dependent ascendant relatives (e.g. parents), as well as direct dependent ascendant relatives of the spouse or partner.
Documents required to obtain a visa for EU/EEA or Swiss family members:
- application form
- passport photo
- passport and copy of the passport
- a document confirming that you are a family member of an EU citizen (a copy of a valid passport or identity card of an EU citizen; a birth certificate of a relative of an EU citizen or a marriage certificate recognized by the government authorities of an EU member state, certificates and other documents, which confirm direct kinship; a document proving that you live as a dependent of an EU citizen
- a document confirming that you are accompanying or traveling with an EU citizen and that he or she resides in the country of destination
+ In case of departure of a minor: original + photocopy of birth certificate
+ a photocopy of the parents' consent certified by a notary, as well as a photocopy of the parents' documents: passport or identity card
