The Embassy of Hungary, Tashkent has joined the online appointment booking system for consular services. Appointment booking by e-mail, phone, or personal appearance at the Embassy is no longer possible. The only way to book an appointment is through the online appointment booking system!
In order to facilitate the administration procedure, please consider the following:
- Clients only received by previously booked online appointment;
- Please arrive at the beginning of the allocated time slot;
- Please bring the required documents, forms, and attachments;
- In case of illness, or symptoms of illness, please refrain from visiting the Embassy.
Payment is possible by bank card only, we do not accept cash! The Embassy of Hungary has a new payment system, therefore the prices have to be paid in USD. Please make sure you can make international payments with your bank card.

With respect to countries which have not joined the Apostille Convention, such as Turkmenistan, the Consular Section of the Embassy of Hungary in Tashkent carries out the diplomatic legalization/attestation of documents to be used in Hungary. The Embassy of Hungary in Tashkent does not need to carry out the legalization of documents issued in Uzbekistan, because Uzbekistan is part of the Apostille Convention.
The Consular Section does not carry out the legalization of Hungarian documents to be used in Uzbekistan or Turkmenistan! To read more about the procedure of Hungarian documents to be used abroad (e.g. university transcripts, etc.), please click here.
Please note:
- The Consular Section only issues legalizations for original official documents, which have been issued by a Turkmenistan authority.
- Private documents will not be legalized.
- Photocopies or certified photocopies may not be legalized, only originals.
Steps of the process:
- Getting the necessary certification ("stamp") from the Consular Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
