The Embassy of Hungary represents Luxembourg and the Kingdom of the Netherlands (from May 1, 2026) in the Schengen visa process. The Embassy of Hungary provides only "C" type Schengen Visa on behalf of the represented countries.
On behalf of Luxembourg and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Embassy of Hungary exclusively issues Schengen Visas under the following specific conditions:
- The ad hoc representation will start on May 1, 2026, and will end for the Kingdom of the Netherlands on August 1, 2026. For Luxembourg, the representation will end December 31, 2026.
- the exclusion of visas with limited territoriality; only Schengen visas will be issued
- the respect of the minimum application time of 15 days prior to the intended travel date

Visa applications can be submitted at the VFS Global Visa Application Center after prior registration.
