We would like to draw your attention to the fact that, based on the new legislation effective from January 1, 2024, as well as its implementing regulations, the previous application forms and appendixes can no longer be used, the new forms will be gradually uploaded to the website of the General Directorate of Immigration, but are also available on the website of the BLS Visa Center. Applications submitted on the old forms are not accepted. We also draw your attention to the fact that the new legislation contains very significant changes compared to the previous one, so in order to familiarize yourself with it, you should definitely visit the website of the General Directorate of Immigration in order to study the new rules before submitting your applications:

Clients applying for a residence permit for the purpose of employment are advised to contact their future employer in Hungary in order to clarify whether the supporting documents to be attached to the application (proof of accommodation, proof of employment status, other necessary permits) meet the requirements of the new legislation, as the deficiencies result in the refusal of the application.
We also draw attention to the fact that, based on the new legislation, the rules for family reunification have changed, and the previous options have been significantly reduced.
